Art Hour: Masks

October 31, 2020 11:00am – 12:00pm

Art Hour is a new series of art-making workshops intended to engage K-8 children with works in the Gund Gallery collection. In each session, a Gund Gallery Associate will highlight one piece from the collection and walk through a related craft project that can be completed together in real-time over Zoom. Sessions will also be recorded for those wishing to engage on their own schedule!

Two men wearing colorful bird masks made of feather turn toward each other. The one of the right looks down, while to one of the left looks up. A blue sky full of clouds fills the background.

This Art Hour we will be making Halloween masks inspired by Robert Lostutter’s painting, Violet Tailed Sylph and Crimson Topaz, 1984-86.

Saturday, October 31, 11:00 AM-12:00 PM EST
