“Axis Mundo: Queer Networks in Chicano L.A.” Panel Discussion

March 26, 2020 4:30pm – 6:30pm

Guisela Latorre, Professor of Art History, The Ohio State University, and Nic Flores, Visiting Assistant Professor of Latino/a Studies, Kenyon College, will discuss the social, cultural, and political dimensions of the exhibition Axis Mundo: Queer Networks in Chicano L.A. through the perspectives of art history and queer theory.  Moderated by Clara Roman-Odio, Professor of Spanish, Dept. of Modern Languages and Literature.

Community Foundation Theater, Gund Gallery

A public reception will also be running concurrently in the Fischman Lobby in celebration of the opening of a new installment of Alumnae: 50 Years. Light refreshments will be served.

This event is free and open to the public.
