Stories help bring art to life. We invite our youngest art aficionados for special story times thematically linked to the art on view.
Saturday, October 27, 11:00 AM
We’ll open early and have a hands-on activity just for kids. All storytimes take place in the Buchwald-Wright Gallery. In response to the exhibit Publishing Against the Grain, we’ll examine the power of writing. The exhibit features several innovative, alternative, and do-it-yourself art publications. In Click, Clack, Moo: Cows that Type by Doreen Cronin, we’ll meet some very smart cows that use words to get better working conditions. For our second book A Squiggly Story by Andrew Larsen, a boy learns how to build a story from simple ideas.
