Kenyon College

Children’s Story Time: Rainbow Crow

March 30, 2019 11:00am – 12:00pm

Stories help bring art to life. We invite our youngest art aficionados for special story times thematically linked to the art on view. Every story time features a unique craft! Gallery doors open early for family friendly fun!

Saturday, March 30, 11:00 AM

For our third story time, we’ll visit several public artworks displayed on Kenyon College’s campus. One of our first stops will be Peter Woytuk’s The Kenyon Crowes. We’ll sit on Ransom Hall’s steps and read Nancy Van Laan’s retelling of the Native American legend Rainbow Crow.  During our final stop inside Higley Hall, we’ll discuss James Blalog’s Giant Sequoia, Stagg and discover the amazing biodiversity that can be found in a single tree in Jennifer Ward’s The Busy Tree.
