About the PM Atelier Workshop Series:

PM Atelier is a series of hands-on workshops that introduce participants to a range of traditional artist techniques and processes. Every semester we focus on a different theme connected to our current exhibitions or collection works. Our focus for spring of 2018 is water media techniques represented in the Gund Gallery Collection.  Participants have the option of copying works from our collection or exploring the technique with original subject matter. Registration is required and limited to 15 per session.

Full Series Schedule:

  • Wednesday, January 31 – Opaque Gouache: Jacob Lawrence’s The Builders Family
  • Wednesday, February 28 – Dry Brush Watercolor: Don Nice’s Double Predella
  • Wednesday, March 21 – Variegated Wash Watercolor: William George Allan’s Bear Kill – Rainbow
  • Wednesday, April 11 – Abstract Watercolor: Helen Frankenthaler’s West Wind

Gund Gallery exhibitions and public programs are supported, in part, by the Gund Gallery Board of Directors and the Ohio Arts Council.
