PM Atelier: Matting & Framing

April 12, 2017 6:00pm – 8:30pm

About the Workshop Series:

PM Atelier is a series of hand-on workshops that introduce participants to a range of traditional artist techniques. Color is the focus of our spring offerings! Our first session covers color theory.  The next three investigate color application using collage, watercolor and pastel.  In the final session, we’ll learn how to properly mat one of the works produced during the semester.  Registration is required and limited to 15 per session.

Matting & Framing

Presentation is everything! Museums work hard to make sure collections are safe and preserved for future generations. In this workshop, we’ll learn about proper archival presentation techniques and discuss different strategies for framing artwork. Participants will be able to mat one small piece (maximum mat size 16 x 20).

Wednesday, April 12, 6:00-8:30 PM

Seats are limited to 15 participants. Register HERE.
