Alasia Destine-DeFreece is a modern languages & literatures (Arabic) major with a concentration in Asian Middle East studies. She currently serves as a leader on the Digital Outreach team. Alasia’s favorite project so far has been co-curating the Alumnae: 50 Years exhibition. She enjoyed interviewing the visiting alumnae artists for various digital projects including videos and podcasts. In the future, she hopes to combine her gallery and language interests into a career that allows her to travel. Alasia also hopes to resume woodworking, regardless of career.
