Kiki Smith

April 19, 2012–July 22, 2012  [+]

Acclaimed contemporary artist Kiki Smith has spent her life charting unique, observable and invisible worlds. From biological to celestial imagery, her cross-media work documents the intersection between natural and spiritual. This show, which includes books, prints and sculpture, celebrates Smith’s ability to capture the fragility of the natural world in her own processes, always mindful of its role in the comprehension of self.

Smith lives and works in New York City. She has been represented by the Pace Gallery since 1994.

Awards include:
2009 Brooklyn Museum’s Women in the Art’s Award.
2009 Edward MacDowell medal from the MacDowell Colony
2005 Athena Award for the Excellence in Printmaking from the Rhode island School of Design
2005 Elected to the American Academy of Arts and Letters

Hello Patricia, the Gund Gallery an art museum on the campus of Kenyon College. We collect and exhibit art, but we do not sell works of art. You will need to contact the artist directly, or the gallery that represents them, if you are interested in acquiring a work. Best of luck!
