Daniel Dove (b. 1955)
Daniel Dove’s visions of modernity draw from the diverse influences of 19th century American landscapes and cutting edge technology. The painter holds an MFA from the Yale Graduate School of Art, and is the recipient of grants from the Ohio Arts Council, the Joan Mitchell Foundation and the Dallas Museum of Art. Dove is an associate professor of studio art at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, California.
