Jason Middlebrook (b. 1966)
Jason Middlebrook works as a sculptor, painter and draftsman. Many of his mixed media installations address environmental concerns, depicting the delicate intersections between civilization and nature. Middlebrook received an MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute, and participated in the Whitney Independent Study Program in New York City. He lives and works in Hudson, NY. His work is exhibited in the public collections of the Albright Knox Gallery in Buffalo, NY, the Whitney Museum of American Art (NYC) and The Museum of Modern Art (NYC), among others.
