You’ve Come A Long Way, Baby

You’ve Come a Long Way, Baby showcases more than 250 tobacco advertisements from the early-1900s through the late 20th century and investigates how the portrayals of women and cigarettes register important shifts in concepts of health, gender, sexuality and consumer culture. This exhibition is produced in collaboration with the Stanford Research in Tobacco Advertising group (SRITA) at Stanford University.
