Rafael Lozano-Hemmer: Transition States

October 10, 2016–January 2, 2017  [+]

Rafael Lozano-Hemmer uses technology as a language that is deeply intertwined with the ways we relate to one another socially.  Drawing on his background in science and experimental art, he creates electronic installations that include interactive video, robotics, computerized surveillance, photography, and sound sculpture.  These technological devices initiate both intimate and collective relational encounters that imagine new forms of communication in public spaces. This exhibition will feature multiple works and installations in the Gund Gallery and across campus.

The Gund Gallery exhibitions and programs are made possible, in part, by the Gund Gallery Board of Directors and the Ohio Arts Council.

Hello Verónica, we are an art museum and do not sell works of art. You will need to contact the artist directly, or the gallery that represents him, if you are interested in acquiring his work. Best of luck!
