Weaving Afghan Carpets


Weaving hand knotted wool rugs is a time-consuming art, sometimes requiring teams of skilled craftsmen and women to spend to work for years before being able to complete a single rug. The video below gives a good overview of what it takes to produce such a fine carpet, highlighting the main steps in the process, what they accomplish, and how they’re carried out.
