Inspired by Gund Gallery’s The Art of Trees exhibition, Mount Vernon City School District art teachers Megan Reardon and Katie Gentry challenged their students to respond to the show with trees of their own. On display are postcard messages to the Kenyon College community from students in grades K-5 from Twin Oak Elementary, Columbia Elementary, East Elementary, and Dan Emmett Elementary. Their creativity, humor, and sense of wonder is inspiring and greatly appreciated.
