Erin Shirreff (b. 1975) is an NYC-based artist from Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. Shirreff’s art spans various mediums, in which she has experimented with the interaction between photography, video, and sculpture. Shirreff’s works explore themes of color and shapes, considering how abstract objects engage with the space around them. Shirreff is interested in “the illusion of images” and her work often ponders how images of an object differ from the object itself.
