We will take inspiration from Mehretu’s Auguries to create scribble drawings. Our activity will explore how random lines and shapes can come together to make a new and exciting picture. Let your mind wander and see what you can create!

About Art Hour:
Art Hour returns this fall with four art-making workshops for children. Each session highlights one piece from the Gund Gallery Collection or current exhibitions and guides attendees through a related craft project that will be completed in-person at the Gallery. Instructions will also be posted online for those who wish to complete the projects on their own time!
