Comments Sections
We use WordPress to manage the comments section of each page on our website. All comments are moderated to ensure a safe, respectful environment for discussion. No personal information used to register these comments is ever released beyond our organization. The Gund Gallery at Kenyon College reserves the right not to publish anonymous posts or those made using falsified email addresses or identities. Newsletters
We use MailChimp for all of our email newsletters. MailChimp is fully GDPR compliant. You can review their Privacy Policy in full at mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/. Users who do not wish to receive our newsletters may click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email or they may request to unsubscribe by contacting us directly at gundgallery@kenyon.edu.
Donor Information
We store information shared by users through our online membership website administered by Shopify. This information is used for membership orders, membership correspondence and is shared with Kenyon College Office of College Relations for record keeping purposes. This information does not include donor credit card information, which is never released to anyone, and remains stored on Shopify’s encrypted servers. Shopify employs industry-standard data protection technologies and is fully GDPR compliant. You can review their Privacy Policy in full at www.shopify.com/legal/privacy. Users may update their personal information at any time by logging into their online account at shop.gundgallery.org, calling us at 740-427-5972, or emailing us at gundgallery@kenyon.edu.
Website Analytics
We use Google Analytics to provide statistics about a user activity on our website, gundgallery.org. This information is anonymous and contains no personal data.
Social Media Analytics
We use Hootsuite Analytics to provide statistics about a user activity with our social media feeds on the platforms Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. This information is anonymous and contains no personal data.
Ad Servers and Third Parties
We do not partner with any ad server companies. We do not sell, exchange, or rent your data to third parties and have no plans to do so in the future. Some donor information is shared with our parent organization, Kenyon College, (see Donor Information section for details) but general user information is not shared with any third party.
Request to Remove Data
Upon request, any user may ask to have their personal data history completely removed from our database by writing us at gundgallery@kenyon.edu. We cannot remove donor personal data from the databases maintained by Kenyon College’s Office of College Relations. To have this information removed, please contact them directly by calling 740-427-5154.
