Gund Gallery 2014-2018 Strategic Plan
In 2014, the Gund Gallery undertook a formal strategic planning process. A museum consultant was contracted by the President’s Office at Kenyon College to lead a representative planning team of faculty, board members, senior administrators, College staff, community members and Museum staff. This detailed and highly consultative ten-month process involved interviews of over sixty stakeholders (faculty, students, Museum board members, donors, College trustees, alumni and others) by the strategic planner, peer analysis of other liberal arts colleges and academic museums, and additional research. The mission and vision of the Gund was re-articulated and key priorities for 2014-2018 were defined. On October 25, 2014, the President presented the formal plan to the Gund Gallery Board of Directors, who unanimously approved it for implementation.
